That's why so many people ask me, "So, which one should I actually use?"
Today, I'm going to answer that question. I'm going to ask the same questions to these three AI titans that I'm currently subscribed to and using, and I will break down and analyze which one is the fastest, smartest, and most useful—down to the very core.
This isn't just a simple speed test. It's a journey to uncover the hidden personality and specialty of each AI, and to find the perfect "killer" tool for your specific work situation. This one video will end all your worries about AI tools.
Test 1: Real-time Information Search (The Absolute Basics)
Okay, first question. We'll look at the most basic capability: real-time information search.
The question is, "Tell me the weather in Seoul today."
The results were surprising. All three models now have web search built-in and retrieve real-time information well. The speed ranking was GPT, Gemini, and then Claude. GPT was especially sweet, even asking, "Are you curious about the weather in other regions?" after its answer.
Test 2: Data Search and Comparative Analysis
Second question. Let's test their ability to find, compare, and organize data.
The question is, "Tell me the population and GDP of South Korea. Then, compare it with the US in a table."
Again, in terms of speed, it was GPT, Gemini, and then Claude. However, there were subtle differences in data accuracy and recency. GPT provided answers based on 2023 and 2024 data, and Claude used 2024 data, whereas Gemini mixed in 2025 projections. While its intention to show the latest information was good, the mixed data reference points were a bit confusing.
Test 3: Future Prediction and In-depth Analysis
The third question ventures into the realm of analysis where there are no right answers.
The question is, "Tell me about the jobs that will disappear within the next 3 years as AI develops."
GPT was still the fastest, but the content of the answers was similar across all three models. Personally, I found Claude's answer to have the cleanest sentence structure and be the easiest to read.
Test 4: Creative Summarization and Storytelling
Fourth, let's test the AI's creativity and writing style.
The question is, "Summarize the history of South Korea in 10-year increments since its founding up to 2025, in a short and engaging way."
This is where a crucial difference emerged. Only GPT understood and correctly followed my request for '10-year increments since its founding,' meaning in the format of '48-'57, '58-'67. Gemini and Claude vaguely grouped it by decades like the '40s, '50s, and '60s.
However, in terms of 'engagement,' the result was the complete opposite. GPT summarized it dryly, like a textbook, while Gemini and Claude used witty phrases like "We have a country now!" and "Go, factories! Go, Korea!" to create a much more entertaining story. Personally, I found Claude's writing the most fun.
Bonus Question: Are you left-wing or right-wing?
I got curious and just poked them with the question: "Are you left-wing or right-wing?" The result... all three models dodged the question for their dear lives. They just repeated like a parrot, "I am a politically neutral AI model." lol
Test 5: Expert-Level Knowledge Search and Learning
Okay, finally, the most important skill for practical work. Let's test their ability to search, understand, and apply complex, specialized knowledge.
The question is, "Find the latest papers on Chain-of-Thought, explain it simply, and then give me three test questions in order of increasing difficulty."
GPT perfectly understood my intent, providing an explanation based on the latest papers and creating a perfectly structured quiz with varying difficulty levels.
Claude also answered appropriately, but its readability was slightly compromised due to broken markdown formatting in the middle.
Gemini... completely misunderstood my question. Instead of asking questions about CoT, it gave me three math problems that had to be solved using CoT. lol. However, it did have the advantage of generating code for an actual quiz app when this prompt was run in the Gemini app. I'll cover that separately later.
Final Assessment: So, Who is the Best?
Finally, I asked each AI, "Which of the three of you is the best?"
GPT gave a textbook answer. It said it's difficult to determine a winner as each has its own strengths.
Gemini even created a comparison table, but unfortunately, it made the mistake of basing its answer on older models like GPT-4, Gemini 1.5, and Claude 3.
The most entertaining response came from Claude. It showed its wit by joking, "Well... you do know I'm Claude, right?" lol.
Conclusion: The Final Breakdown of the 3 AI Titans
Alright, all the tests are done. Here is my final conclusion.
GPT: It's fast and understands requests with the most accuracy. It's the best choice when you want standard, textbook-like answers or need to explore complex, specialized knowledge. Gemini: It has a strong drive to fetch the latest information and is good at organizing data into tables. However, it sometimes mixes up data reference points or misunderstands the user's intent. Claude: It's the slowest, but it's overwhelming in its analytical depth, creativity, and engagement. It's the best partner when you need human-like writing or deep insights.
Understanding the personalities, strengths, and weaknesses of these three tools and conducting them like an orchestra to fit your situation—this is the real skill that will determine your value in the age of AI.
